LCD Soundsystem is an American dance-punk and electronic rock band led by James Murphy, formed in New York City in 2002. Known for their emotionally charged, danceable music blending post-punk, electronic, and disco influences, they rose to prominence with albums like Sound of Silver (2007) and This Is Happening (2010), which are widely considered modern classics. The band disbanded in 2011 but reunited in 2016 and released American Dream in 2017. Their upcoming performance at Brooklyn Steel on December 3, 2026, is part of their Tour 2025, celebrating extended touring featuring residencies at major venues across North America.
The setlist for this tour is expected to include fan favorites such as "Tonite," "You Wanted a Hit," and "All My Friends," which is known for being an emotional crowd sing-along moment. Past performances have been noted for their positive live vibe, making this event a must-see for fans. The concert will also feature opening acts that are yet to be announced.
